It’s a funny irony in the car world that the least talked-about models often sell the most. The Equinox is Chevy’s second best-selling vehible behind the Silverado, and nobody I spoke to had ever heard of it.
Perhaps it’s because we associate Chevy with Camaros, Corvettes and big American trucks. But the bow-tie brand’s humble little crossover deserves a golf clap; it’s surprisingly zippy, fuel efficient and generously loaded with safety equipment.
A little cheaper than the RAV4 or Mazda MX-5, the Equinox is a handsome, likeable little crossover that checks the boxes on a budget.
