We love tiny: tiny houses, tiny dogs, and tiny desserts. Now, Nissan offers us a tiny SUV.
What’s to like? First, it’s cheap; the midrange SV trim is just $20k. It offers double the cargo space of a sedan and gets 36mpg highway. The Kicks also handles a touch better than a Kia Soul and offers standard automatic braking. What’s not to like? The Kicks is slower than most cars from the Reagan era and, despite its cool styling, can’t escape an unhealthy dose of cheap plastic.
Still, the Kicks is a solid choice for urbanites seeking an all-rounder.
