When I told my friends I was pumped to test a minivan this week, they thought I was being sarcastic. Minivans are tools, after all, purchased begrudgingly by exhausted parents to ferry their offspring to soccer practice.
In reality, minivans are secretly awesome. The Pacifica, being a prime example, is superbly comfortable, boasts a bumpin’ sound system, and offers more safety tech than the presidential limo. Plus, although the hybrid’s second row doesn’t fold, it returns 32mpg combined, can tow 3600 lbs, and still offers more cargo space than a Chevy Tahoe.
Shopping for a full-size SUV? Consider a minivan.
