I’ve previously admired the G70 for being a solid all-around contender among affordable sports sedans. However, this newest iteration has upgraded my feelings from respect to all-out lust.
Aside from superb handling and smooth acceleration, the G70 deserves major kudos for looking twice as expensive as it is (it starts at just $36k) and for having the most comfortable seats I’ve ever felt in a sports car.
Lastly, the G70 obliterates the competition in dependability. Many sports cars are barely held together by brittle plastic parts for “low weight,” but the Genesis is built to last for decades of fun.
