Giant Cliff is North Carolina’s Oldest Attraction, But There’s Plenty More to Do in This Mountain Town

We had the path to ourselves as we descended to the creek to view the waterfalls along the Glen Burney Falls Trail in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The trailhead was just steps away from Main Street, teeming with shoppers and diners, but we had entered deep into the woods in just a few minutes.

Hiking was our top activity, but we made sure to save time for some browsing in the shops and dining at the fabulous restaurants in the small Western North Carolina town in the mountains.

See our story for more things to do in Blowing Rock, NC.
