Former Strip Club Now Toronto’s Chicest Hotel

Broadview Hotel

It has one of the best rooftop bars we’d seen and we were charmed by the record player in our room at The Broadview Hotel in Toronto. Some rooms have balconies for views of Queen Street East or the Don Valley River.

Once home to a popular strip club, this 1891 building has been restored to a boutique hotel with 58 rooms. Guests can have a casual meal at the Cafe + Bar or enjoy brunch or dinner at The Civic, voted one of Toronto’s best new restaurants in 2018.

The location is perfect for strolling through Leslieville, dubbed Hipsterville East.
