I couldn’t stop taking photos of cars on Route 66 in Arizona. I’m not a big car person, unlike my son, who discovered this passion at a young age and even founded a business helping people buy cars.
But these cars were so colorful, like works of art, or so whimsical, like one of a yellow VW bug with a cutout of Queen Elizabeth waving from the passenger seat.
While some were made for driving, others were just for show. I could tell because every window, like the van and red, white and blue VW bug, were covered with stickers.
