I Never Thought I’d Like Cruising. Then I Went on This Ship

I didn’t picture myself as the cruising kind. Maybe I thought the reality could never live up to the high seas adventures and dreamy romance depicted on episodes of “The Love Boat.”

Then I was invited to sail aboard Disney’s Wonder for the launch of this second ship of Disney Cruise Line. The ship was gorgeous, my stateroom was spacious and dining areas were elegant. And the shows were fantastic.

I’ve sailed a few more times with Disney, including a cruise with my adult children. See our story on Disney’s launch of its fifth ship, Disney Wish, setting sail in 2022.
