Easing Our Way Back Into the World Beyond Our Zip Code

For a travel writer, I’ve been remarkably happy staying home. A few road trips and moving to a new home have kept me busy. So has emptying the dishwasher constantly, but I don’t count that as a positive.

But after being fully vaccinated we are ready to step back into the world. This summer we are heading to a ranch in Montana and to a travel conference in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, followed by a road trip in Virginia.

International travel is a bit trickier. When you are ready to use that long-neglected passport, be sure to do your research.
