Food comes with a side of history, mystery with Secret Food Tours

Jan Schroder and Chris Schroder on secret food tour in NYC

With a free day in New York City, we signed up for a food tour, choosing the Chinatown and Little Italy tour with Secret Food Tours.

We met our guide Hannah on Mulberry Street in Chinatown for our first stop – delicious pork and chive dumplings at Tasty Dumpling. From there Hannah shared the history and stories of the areas as we made several stops at local establishments. These included pineapple pork buns at Mei Lai Wah, burrata pizza at Sofia’s Little Italy and cannoli at Café Palermo.

The secret food stop was a favorite but we can’t divulge the location.
