Skip the airport and going through customs in the UK when traveling between Ireland and France with a new ferry that sails from Ringaskiddy in Cork, Ireland, to Boulogne-sur-Mer in northern France six days a week in both directions.
Launched by Hibernia Line, the ferry leaves in the evenings and takes around 21.5 hours. Passengers can book a reclining seat in the lounge or bed down in a private cabin with en suite bathroom. Amenities include unrestricted amount of luggage, Wifi, lounge, restaurant and bar.
Cars, RVs, caravans and motorcycles are welcome on board. Pet-friendly cabins will be available soon.
