I didn’t expect to fall in love with Northern Michigan, but it happened as soon as I got my flrst glimpse of Lake Michigan.

From the lively downtown Traverse City to the sandy slopes of Sleeping Bear Dunes near Suttons Bay and the scenic wineries of Old Mission Peninsula, exploring Northern Michigan was a delight.

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa was the perfect place to stay to enjoy resort amenities and a fabulous location for sightseeing. For the last night of our 12-day visit, we stayed at Cambria Hotel Traverse City where we enjoyed happy hour in the lively bar.

Please see stories on both our the hotels on the links above.
