If you don’t have this at TSA, you’ll have to pay a $45 fee and will be delayed

If you don’t have a REAL ID, you’ll have to pay $45 and may be delayed up to 30 minutes while your identity is being verified. If you don’t know if you have one, visit www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/identification to see the acceptable forms of identification for screening.

If you determine you don’t have a REAL ID, you’ll still have to pay $45, but can save time by visiting TSA.gov/confirmID, filling out a form and having your identification verified before you travel. You’ll receive a receipt that you will need to take to the airport that is valid for 10 days.
