Welcome to our new feature, Inn-Side Story, which features a look at a different hotel each issue. This month Atlanta-based writer Lisa Mowry takes us to a property that delivers the quintessential Maine experience but is only an hour from Boston.

She and her husband, Chris, enjoyed dramatic ocean views from their room perched high on a cliff, explored the rocky coastline and indulged in dishes like lobster macaroni and cheese.

They took advantage of a complimentary Volvo to visit Kennebunkport, Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge, Nubble Light House and Ogonquit.
