Is remote TSA check-in coming to an airport near you?

Imagine going through a short TSA line at a remote terminal, then riding a bus directly to the secure part of the terminal at the airport. That’s what’s happening during a three-month pilot program launched June 1 for passengers out of Logan International Airport in Boston.

Delta and JetBlue passengers can park at the Logan Remote Terminal in Framingham, check luggage, go through screening, then board a bus to the airport 22 miles away.
The cost is $9 for adults, free for children under 18. The cost for parking is $7 a day. If it’s successful, the program may be expanded.
