Other tastings at Chelsea Market and Market 57 at Pier 57 included doughnuts, Portuguese tarts, dumplings and pizza. Our guide, Svetlana, taught us how to eat pizza like a New Yorker. “Fold it in half, eat while walking, and look mad.”
After our samples, we strolled down the 1.5-mile High Line to Hudson Yards, viewing the architecture, landscaping and art.
