Lookin’ at nothing but Bluesky. Tips for joining the trending social media platform

There has been a mass X-odus from Twitter in the past few weeks with millions of people moving to Bluesky, a decentralized social media platform. While we’re reluctant to add more social media to our roster, we’re hoping this platform has a more positive tone.

Here are a few tips for using Bluesky.

• Fill out your profile completely.
• Block trolls and toxic people.
• Turn on “Show Posts From My Feeds” in settings.
• Follow a few feeds. I’m following BookSky, Discover,  and Popular with Friends.
• Use alt text to make images accessible.
