Natchez, located on a bluff of the Mississippi River, started Shift South, an incentive program for workers who can work remotely. The town wants to encourage economic development and will help offset relocation and first-year living expenses.
Natchez has been called one of the nation’s best small towns and has dozens of antebellum homes to tour and yes, some of the best biscuits in the world.
