My Favorite Way to Reduce Stress? Paddling in a Kayak

“There cannot be a stressful crisis next week. My schedule is already full,” ­said former secretary of state Henry Kissinger.

We can all relate, right? The world is a big giant spinning ball of stress right now and we all need to find a way to handle it for ourselves. 

One thing that helps me is doing jigsaw puzzles. Another I was able to indulge in recently – paddling a kayak. 

We navigated our kayaks around beautiful Lake James in North Carolina and down a narrow heavily forested creek as far as we could go. It helped restore my travel-starved soul.
