Oh man, the time I’ve wasted. I found a great Airbnb at a good price that was available and went all the way to the end of the process of booking it only to see so many fees tacked on that the budget was blown.
Finally responding to complaints about exorbitant service and cleaning fees that aren’t listed until the last step, starting this month Airbnb will list prices at the beginning that include service and cleaning charges. These prices will also be listed on the maps, price filter, and listings. Taxes will not be included until the end, however.
