Artists Jennifer and Kevin Box have elevated the ancient Japanese art of origami to a much grander level with outdoor sculptures they’ve created with metals. The 20 sculptures include ponies, butterflies, birds and a 25-foot sculpture, a tower made of 1,000 peace cranes.

Origami in the Garden is a traveling exhibition, currently at the San Antonio Botanical Garden and opening in April at the Missouri Botanical Garden.

A smaller scaled version with 15 sculptures,  Origami in the Garden Fundamental Show, opens in April at  Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart, Indiana then travels to Reiman Gardens in Aimes, Iowa in May.
