Which is the worst part of renewing your passport? The eight-to-11 week waiting period to get it back?  Printing out and sending hard-to-replace forms? Or maybe it’s worrying that your passport could get lost in the mail in either direction, along with those Christmas presents you never received.

We won’t have to worry about any of those things sometime soon. Our president has issued an executive order that calls for the creation of a new online passport renewal system that will not require any documents to be mailed.

Streamlining this arduous process is good for travelers and the travel industry.
