You no longer need a timed reservation at Yosemite National Park, but you’ll still find crowds at one of our country’s most popular national parks. Here are tips to avoid crowds:
• Purchase a digital Yosemite Entrance Pass prior to arrival.
• Arrive before 8:00 a.m. and visit on a weekday or Sunday.
• Take a guided tour with a local company or with a hotel, like Rush Creek Lodge & Spa.
• Visit some of the lesser-known places that aren’t as crowded such as Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias, Tuolumne Meadows or Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, a large lake with granite walls and waterfalls.
