Tours are only ever as good as the guide. Josh Arnold, owner and operator of Routes Bicycle Tours in Albuquerque, knows his town – not only the stunning Rio Grande Bosque bike trail but also the history, culture and natural phenomena of the area.
Our family took a two-hour tour that culminated at the Rio Grande Nature Center where we watched a turtle and duck habitat and learned about how the landscape was formed over millennia. Josh answered all our questions while piloting the tandem bike carrying our seven-year-old son with grace, humor and pride in his hometown.
