Imagine a luxury cruise ship that looks like a plane suspended in the sky where guests board by private jet or an electric commercial plane from anywhere in the world.
Powered by 20 nuclear-powered engines, the Sky Hotel could accommodate up to 5,000 guests and will include restaurants, bars, playgrounds, a shopping mall, entertainment deck, theater, 360-degree viewing tower and medical facility. It could remain suspended in the sky indefinitely, never needing to land.
For now the Sky Hotel is just a concept created by Tony Holmston with a video produced by science communicator Hashem Al-Ghaili. View the video here.
