The e-bike tour was probably my favorite part of a visit to Aiken, South Carolina. A twist of a throttle gave me the feeling of having a super power and we made several stops along the way to learn about the history of this small city in South Carolina that’s famous for breeding and training race-winning thoroughbreds.

In the 1800s it was known as The Winter Colony for wealthy families from the Northeast. With gorgeous historic inns, a walkable downtown, great restaurants and plenty of fun local shops, Aiken is still a great place to visit. Read the full story.
