This major airport has scraped the 3-1-1 liquid rule

I got a tearful call from my daughter who was at the Atlanta airport. “They took away my Nutella!” she said referring to the two huge jars I had bought for her at Costco.

Gallons and gallons of liquids have been tossed by TSA in the 20 years since the 3-1-1 liquid rules. But one major airport has now rescinded that rule. You can carry up to 2 liters through security at Heathrow, following the same rule change as smaller airports in the UK, including Gatwick, Edinburgh and Birmingham.

The change comes after the installation of new high-tech CT scanners.
