TSA rolls back 25-year-old travel restriction

Some of us remember the old days when you could walk with someone to a gate at the airport if you weren’t a passenger, a rule that changed after 9/11. Those days are back for TSA PreCheck members with a new program called Gateside by TSA PreCheck

Apply 1-3 days out, submit information and if approved, head to the TSA check-in line at the airport with an acceptable form of ID.

The program is available in 13 airports, in Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Little Rock, Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Omaha, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Diego and Wichita.
