Lost But Not Forgotten at Unclaimed Baggage Center

The most exotic thing I ever traveled with was hot chocolate squares on a stick. TSA dusted them claiming they looked like little bombs.

People carry all kinds of wacky items on board planes. When suitcases are lost and unclaimed, they go to The Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama. In addition to potential bargains, there’s a museum with rotating displays of the more unusual items.

How about an African mask, a Chinese dragon kite or even a full suit of armor? So many questions about that one. Then there was the 40.95 carat emerald, valued at $35,000.
