It’s wave season! What does that mean and what you should do about it

If you’re looking to book a cruise, now is a a great time of year to get a good deal. The first few months of the year are considered “wave season,” lasting through the end of March.

We’re not sure if the name comes from a wave of deals, but we prefer to think of it as a way to get out on the waves. Or wave good-bye to paying full price.

The cruise ship companies offer deals so they can book their sailings for the year. And with some companies, you can plan ahead and book two years in advance.
