It was our first West Cruise cruise, on the Discovery Princess cruise boarding in Vancouver and disembarking in Los Angeles. We had visited all these ports before so opted to select our own excursions.
We ate ourselves into a spicy food coma experiencing the Surry Spice Trail and marveled at the magnificent Butchart Gardens in Victoria.
With glorious weather in San Francisco, we chose new adventures – Bike the Bridge with Blazing Saddles and a visit to the San Francisco Peninsula to see a historic home, enjoy a magnificent wine tasting and explore downtown Burlingame.
