Travel Tip: What to Download to Watch on a Plane

I sat crouched in my coach seat, watching a downloaded show on my iPad when a graphic adult-rated scene came on. I quickly clicked off and found something else.

Now I search for plane-appropriate shows to watch during my travels. Here are some you can watch anywhere, without embarrassment or traumatizing a child.

My current favorites are “Staged” on Hulu and “Call the Midwife “on Netflix. Here are others:

Netflix: “Derry Girls,” “Grace + Frankie,” “The Great British Baking Show,” “Kath + Kim,” “Schitt’s Creek” and “The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes.”
