In a great green room, you can pick up a rotary phone and listen to Thacher Hurd, son of the illustrator, reading “Goodnight Moon.” Or play in a kitchen inspired by “Blueberries for Sal” and a fake bubble bath in “Harry the Dirty Dog.”

These are a few activities for kids and their parents to enjoy at the new Rabbit hOle museum dedicated to 100 years of children’s literature in North Kansas City, Missouri. The co-founders are spouses Pete Cowdin and Deb Pettid.

The three-floor museum includes 40 large book-themed dioramas, Print Shop, Story Lab and The Lucky Rabbit Bookstore.
