Before seeing a musical, I like to listen to the music. As soon as I heard the first strains of the first song “Road to Hell” from “Hadestown,” I knew I was in for an amazing night of musical theater. The story is based on the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, which has been called the ultimate tragic love story.
The winner of eight Tony Awards in 2019, including Best New Musical, “Hadestown” is playing at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta from January 10-15, 2023. The next stops for the tour include Kansas City; Madison, Wisconsin; Cleveland and Buffalo.
