Discover New Bands at Pickathon

by Jan Schroder
Pickathon music festival

Pickathon often tops lists of America’s best music festivals and all those music reviewers are not wrong. The festival, held August 2-4 this year, caps daily attendance to 4,500 people which given the 80-acre site with multiple stages at the Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, Oregon, makes every performance feels intimate.

Most of the bands are not household names and are handpicked for musical discovery. Pickathon is the ultimate family-friendly music festival where kids have ample opportunity to access a “summer’s camp worth of activities” during the festival and all children under 12 years old attend the festival free of charge.
