I love spas. So when I had the chance to take in a treatment at Spa SE at Grand Velas’ Los Cabos resort, I jumped at the chance. But my best decision was heeding the suggestion to arrive 90 minutes early.
Turns out I needed every minute to enjoy the watery bliss of the spa’s seven-station hydrotherapy pool, which used bubbles and jets to pummel my jet-lagged muscles, and, afterwards, a guided journey – with mini-treatments along the way – through steam, sauna, aromatherapy and ice therapy rooms. By the time my massage began, I was already in heaven.
