We’ve seen a trend for hotel rooms without closets. But without a roof or walls? That’s a new one.
Null Stern Hotel, founded in 2008, specializes in what they call Zero Real Estate suites with five suites in Saillon, Switzerland, where guests bed down for the night completely in the open. A new suite is opening this summer, joining four others that include one called the Anti-Idyllic Suite, which is on the side of a thoroughfare by a gas station parking lot.
The suites are open from July 1 to September 22, 2022. Thousands of people are on the waiting list.
