I love to hike, especially in Western North Carolina where we have been spending a lot of time in a family cabin. I’d seen people hiking with poles but never really got the point and it seemed like they would be more trouble than they are worth.
I also worried I would trip and inpale myself on one. Yes, it’s super rare but it has happened.
Then my husband gave me these hiking poles and I’ve loved using them, although I only use one for our steeper climbs. And because they are foldable, I can pack them when we travel.
