These hiking pants met all of my criteria, including this one

When I’m hiking I want my phone within easy access to take photos and videos along the trail. I have a few pairs of hiking pants but the pockets are too small to hold my iPhone.

Being wary of bug bites and poison ivy, I wear long pants when I hike, but want the option to roll them up if it’s hot or muddy. I found these Splash Roll-Up Pants from KÜHL that have deep pockets and are also quick drying and sun protective. 

My husband really likes the lightweight feel of his pair of the Resistor Lite Chino Klassiks.
