Hocking Hills, Ohio, is one of my favorite places to visit for the hiking, kayaking and other outdoor recreational activities. And what better place to enjoy nature 24/7 than spending the night in one of these Hocking Hills treehouses?

These aren’t like the treehouses you remember from your childhood, unless those had bathrooms, kitchens, heating and air and indoor fireplaces as many of these do. We also have several Hocking Hills treehouse cabins with hot tubs, perfect for soaking in after hiking.

There’s no need to sacrifice luxury or location when staying in treehouses in Hocking Hills as you’ll see from some of the descriptions from these properties.

Tips for booking one of these Hocking Hills treehouses.

Book early!
Treehouses are really popular and book up fast. Book as far in advance as possible. If you fall in love with one that isn’t available, try contacting the owner for a last-minute booking due to a cancellation.

Read the fine print.
If you have a pet, make sure the treehouse is pet friendly. If you have mobility issues, check its accessibility. While most of these have heating and air conditioning, that’s not always guaranteed with treehouse rentals. One treehouse on our list is completely off the grid – no electricity or running water.

Note that rates can vary widely.
You can expect rates to go up in the fall. Many of these properties have a two-night minimum and that might increase as well at certain times of the year.
