Glorious Bathtubs We Have Known, Loved and Soaked In Around the World

Sure, I love comfortable bedding that feels like you’re floating in a cloud. But you know what I really love at a hotel? A luxurious bathtub.

I’m sad to see they are disappearing, giving way to large showers that may be elegant and have a separate jet for every part of your body. But you can’t lie down, drink a glass of wine and read a book in a shower.

I’ve been lucky to stay in rooms with glorious bathtubs. My favorite was this shrine to bathing at Phulay Bay in Krabi, Thailand.
