It sounds good, but call us skeptical when it comes to a new pilot program from Google Flights that refunds you the difference if a flight goes down in price.
There are so many conditions on the price guarantee program that we’re not jumping onboard right away. You have to use Google Flights to book. Then you have to download the Google Pay app because any refunds go through Google Pay.
The dealbreaker for us is this from Google: “Price guarantee is only available for flights for which we’re confident that the price won’t drop.” So we ask, why bother?
